About Me Continued....

Besides my family obligations, making money is the easiest way to get the controller out of my hand. That's why I came up with the name Paid Gamer. Getting back to my story, I was laid off from IBM a year ago and began my journey into making money online. Anyone who has ever typed make money online in a search engine knows that you can be overwhelmed by the wealth of sites you are presented with. You got multi level marketing, affiliate programs, cash gifting. There were so many options when it came to starting an online business I literally got scared. I started thinking what if this is a scam or what if I don't make any money. My unemployment checks were $300 a week at the time, so my wife was the breadwinner of the house. I could not afford to blow ANY money on a business opportunity. We were on a strict household budget and each day I was starting to feel like less of a man. I mean I get to be a stay at home father for our 7 month old son. But that $1200 monthly was not cutting it. I finally said "screw it" and I hopped in. I decided I was going to be an internet marketer. Not only that I decided that I was going to learn everything I possibly could about internet marketing and become the man that I want to be. I realized after a couple of months of searching careerbuilder and monster that I did not want to work a 9 to 5. In fact for the past 9 years I have always worked the night shift. I told myself I would never work for someone else again unless they are going to pay me what I am worth. Since NO employer is going to do that I have to pay myself. Being home with my son during the day getting to see him grow really opened my eyes. This showed me why I want freedom. Freedom to do what I want when I want. That means not having to call in sick to spend a few more hours with the family. That means not having to worry about it next week when my paycheck is short because I missed a day last week. No one should have to trade all of their time for money. I didn't say you shouldn't have to work for your money. The key is working smarter, not harder. That what I am about and that is how I run my online business. The system I use does not require any money to get started or to advertise. I do not call people, or chase people to get them to "sign up". My system sells itself, all I have to do is make sure enough people see my website. Then I can get back to doing what makes me happy.
